Why is it that Asian MMOs are around the pay-as-you-go model? Is it because we, as an alien species, are so materialistic? You know what I'm talking about. Your parents tell you to become either a Doctor or an Engineer - if you can't handle that, it's Business Major, Nurse (even guys) or Computer Programmer for a semester until you change to one of the other choices.
Also, something I've noticed, you always have a billion hit points. You play Wow, you can have say 3k to 5k hit points. However in other asian MMOs, you have like 30000k hit points, so much so that it floods the screen with cartoonic visages and images that blind you, sending you into spasms on the floor like a cationic corpse.
I play FPSs and MMOs, yet everyone I play with are on the East Coast. A friend once told me the reason. The weather on the East Coast is shitty, so sometimes you just stay in your house and play games, cause there's nothing else to do when the snow piles that high.
I dunno if I buy that, however, being the token Asian in a guild full of white people does has it advantages.
